Experience has taught us that a team approach is the most effective method to handle each case. Each member of our team plays an important role that fits into the overall plan to resolve every case. We utilize an efficient and cost-effective system to distribute duties to the team member best equipped to perform a task at the least expense to the client. All work is supervised by Melissa Brown.

Jackie is our firm’s paralegal who joined our team in May 2007, after relocating to Charleston from St. Petersburg, Florida, where she worked as a Paralegal for a criminal defense firm. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida and obtained her Paralegal Certification through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). She is a member of NALA, as well as the Charleston Association of Legal Assistants (CALA), and a registered Notary Public. |

Elizabeth joined our team in February 2008 as a Legal Assistant. She handles office administration and marketing for the firm as well as all initial contacts with potential clients. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Elizabeth graduated from the College of Charleston in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. She is a registered Notary Public. |

Ashley is a Certified Public Accountant and our Bookkeeper. She is an independent contractor and owns her own business, Saltwater Financial Services, LLC. Ashley handles all client billing, manages the firm’s accounting, and is the billing contact for each client. |
